The New Year has started with remarkable enthusiasm and activity from buyers.

Following in the ethos of our last article “Urban Myth – ‘You have to catch the property season’” we launched three houses over the Christmas break. By the end of the first week in January we booked 41 viewings on these properties, sold one at the guide price and received a guide price offer on another!

This bodes well for the market this year and shows confidence remains strong for property in the Cotswolds.

Halifax latest figures show Cheltenham as the town with the highest price rises in 2017 (13% over the year) which is another very positive statistic for the area.

This confidence we hope will continue through 2018 and we are looking forward to another very successful year.
