Urban Myth – ‘You have to catch the property season’

How often have you been told to wait for months and catch the spring market when buyers come out of hibernation and start to buy houses?

At Hayman-Joyce we firmly believe this is an urban myth.

Firstly people look all year round for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with the weather.  Job hunters, people getting their children into school, people at the end of a tenancy on a rental, people downsizing who have enjoyed one last summer in the garden.

Everyones garden, big or small, looks better in May but the idea that you are likely to get more money for your house because the weather is better is another urban myth.

We live in a sophisticated digital era where buyers look at the property internet sites all year round.

The best time to sell is the time that suits you.  If that’s in December then move!
