The team were thrilled to extend our Easter art competition to welcome the whole community. In view of the pandemic, we wanted to encourage as many of the local youngsters as possible to join pupils at St David’s Primary School in entering our drawing competition.
The 3 winners in both categories (5-7 years and 8-11 years) will be awarded with a voucher for Moreton Toy Shop, with a top prize of £10 and the runners-up each receiving a £5 voucher.
Tom said:
“We were overwhelmed with both the amount of entries and level of talent that the Moreton-in-Marsh children showcased. It was really tricky to pick the winning entries from such a creative bunch.”
Well done to each and every child who entered and especially to: Annabel Nicklin (1st) Teddie Salvage (2nd) and Amelie Clarke (3rd) in the 4-7 year old category, and Phoebe Clarke (1st) Flo Beckett-Newhook (2nd) and Kai Tyack (3rd) in the age 8-11 year old category, who were chosen as the winners.
Tom and the team at Hayman-Joyce have decided to award all of the entrants with chocolate to say thank you for their works of art so, once the doors to the school and business are flung open again, Tom and his team welcome all of the youngsters to pop into the shop on the High Street and pick a chocolate from the box.
