Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) regulation changes.

No EPC’s for listed buildings.
The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has announced that with effect from 9th January 2013 EPC’s are no longer required for Listed Buildings.
James Hayman-Joyce commented on the announcement saying “This is welcome news for those who want to sell or let Listed Buildings. It also applies to Listed shops, offices and commercial buildings”.
In the same announcement, DCLG has issued regulations stating that the EPC band must be shown on all property advertisements, but the full EPC no longer needs to be included in sales or letting particulars.
