Philip invited us to value his home in Mallard Cresent, Bourton-on-the-Water and following the valuation asked us to act for him in the sale.
We spent time with Philip working on what needed prioritising to maximise the presentation, whilst fitting in around a busy family life.
We managed viewings and grouped them to pre-agreed times to minimise disruptions and tidying up time.
On finding a buyer we carried out full proof of funding checks to ensure they were in a position to proceed.
We progressed the sale, keeping all parties involved up to date and exchanged the contracts in under 10 weeks – 12 weeks faster than the national average.
The right advice and the right team delivered this exceptional result.
Philips comments “Hayman-Joyce’s knowledge of the local market, real expertise in the local area, summed it up for us. They’re really responsive to their clients and we wouldn’t hesitate in using them again”

So we went with Hayman-Joyce on the basis we were very keen to go with a traditional estate agent rather than one of the modern online versions. It was a great experience for us. Tom and his team came round early doors. We worked out what the property would probably sell for, a very realistic price. We weren’t over-inflating it in any way. And very soon had a bunch of viewings through the door and offers rolling in. We eventually settled on a buyer who was going to move forward with us and we were kept informed by Hayman Joyce the whole way through the process. They were diligent in choosing the best offer for us, which is not necessarily the highest offer of course, and then importantly as well kept in touch the whole way through to see the property through to exchange, which in the circumstances happened pretty quickly. In summary, Hayman Joyce’s knowledge of the local market, real expertise in the local area, summed it up for us. They’re really responsive to their clients and we wouldn’t hesitate in using them again or recommending them to friends who are selling properties.
