HISTORY
Northwick Park Mansion is reputed to have been visited by Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton. In more recent history the Estate housed the famous collections owned by Captain Spencer Churchill, cousin of Sir Winston Churchill, who himself often visited the Estate. Following Captain Spencer Churchill's death in the early 1960s the Estate had various owners. In addition to the conversion of The Mansion, the various outbuildings forming part of this historic Estate were also converted to form individual houses and cottages such as the former Orangery, Coach House, Gallery, Stables etc.

Since 1989 Northwick Park has been the subject of a sympathetic and careful program of restoration which has involved the adaptation of the Grade I listed Mansion House, Stables, Coach House and ground etc from the previous seat of Lady Northwick and Sir Edward Spencer Churchill to form individual houses and cottages, as well as the construction of various quality new houses, all in an attractive vernacular style

Other development companies completed the work, adding the houses of William Emes Garden, Julianas Court, Churchill Square, John Woolfe Court and The Lodge. The Estate was taken over from Clarendon, the final development company, in 2003 by Northwick Park Ltd and thus passed into the joint ownership of the residents, as it is today
