Beckhams looking to move to the Cotswolds
The hot news is that David and Victoria are house hunting in the Cotswolds. It's difficult to think of a better place to bring up a family. There is glorious countryside here, grand houses of honey-coloured stone, miniature cottages topped with oversized thatched roofs, graceful churches, funded by centuries of wool trade. However it is not just beautiful, at the heart lies healthy and vibrant communities supporting independent shops, delis, schools and eateries. A diverse social mix live in the Cotswolds, families, retirees, commuters and second homers. We do not all go horse riding or shooting at the weekends, even if the countryside is superb for that. I would say the Cotswolds are favoured by the discerning buyer someone who is looking for quality of life. My prediction is that the Cotswold property market will go from strength to strength and is not just for celebrities.
